Developing the industrial internet will provide historical opportunities and technological support to the real economy and high-quality development, and will carry comprehensive, deep and revolutionary changes for the real economy, Ma Huateng said in his seven suggestions to the National People's Congress.

The internet company is not a competitor to the traditional enterprise, but a digital assistant, connector, tool cabinet and ecological co-creator that will help the real economy to become a world champion, Ma said.

Ma also suggested building information infrastructure, laying the foundation for industrial internet development and speeding up the deployment of 5G and Ipv6 for commercial use; promoting innovative development of cloud computing, encouraging industrial, finance, government, medical, education and transportation clouds to accelerate development, and speeding up the real economy in its transition to digital.

Moreover, Ma suggested safeguarding the industrial internet, creating multi-party coordination security governance mechanisms involving government, enterprises, and service organizations, and actively carrying out cooperation in international exchanges to promote an open world economy.
