Tourism authorities in Fuzhou, capital of Fujian province, are planning a new itinerary including Fuzhou, Pingtan and Taiwan, in a bid to attract more visitors.

A group of Taiwan travel agency managers and members of the media visited Pingtan county between August 16 and 20 as part of the preparatory work for the new itinerary, and they are expected to sign various cooperation agreements with Fuzhou and Pingtan.

Fuzhou has developed cross-Straits tourism with more direct flights and tours to Taiwan. It also strives to explore more tourism resources in Fuzhou, Pingtan and Taiwan to promote the itinerary program.
