這天同事 Leslie沒來上班, 另一個同事告訴我: “She is under the weather.” 我一時沒能聽懂,同事又重復了一遍，外加， “She is not feeling well.” 我不假思索地說: “噢，她有關節(jié)炎”。
同事看看我，說“我不太清楚。”這下我可糊涂了，明明是他告訴我的，怎么又說不清楚呢？待我晚上打電話給Leslie表示問候，提到白天的疑惑時，Leslie這才向我解釋說， She is under the weather 是說她身體欠佳，可是和天氣無關。
