那天是先生的同事 John 的訂婚宴，我們應(yīng)邀赴宴。見到John和他的未婚妻，我們由衷祝福。先生還和 John 聊了一會，說著這兩天的新鮮事，只聽 John 說: “I am in the dark.”。
我納悶了，這是他的大喜日子，可他的心里怎么這樣灰暗。
回程路上，向先生說起對 John 的看法，這才歪打正著，又學(xué)一招。in the dark，不是指消級、心里灰暗。John 當(dāng)時那么說，表示他對先生所說的事一無所知。
