Chinese tech company Honor secured the top position in global smartphone shipment growth among the world's top 10 phone manufacturers in 2025, according to the latest industry data.

The performance highlights Honor's successful global expansion and its strategic focus on innovation and a diversified product portfolio amid intensified competition.

The latest report from global research firm Omdia reveals that Honor's smartphone business achieved a remarkable 11 percent year-on-year growth in global shipments for 2025, ranking first in growth rate among the world's top ten smartphone brands.

Analysts attribute the performance to Honor's core strategy of driving advancement through technological innovation. The company has invested in key areas such as imaging, artificial intelligence, and battery technology.

Complementing its smartphone success, Honor's tablet business emerged as a significant growth pillar in its global expansion. Data from the US market research company International Data Corp shows that in the mid-to-high-end consumer tablet market segment (priced between $300 and $600) in 2025, Honor led all major overseas brands in shipment growth rate.
