Ready for Spring Festival travel rush
Chinese railway operators have made full preparations for the forthcoming 40-day Spring Festival travel rush which will start on Feb 2. At Yuci Station in Shanxi province, one of the country's 44 major marshalling yards, managerial staff members have called on employees to refine organizational plans for ticket purchasing, security inspection and passenger boarding. The waiting rooms have been rearranged with measures taken to serve passengers with special needs, and the platforms receiving passengers will be scientifically allocated. Additional personnel will also be on duty for the upcoming Spring Festival travel rush.
CSPC opens product innovation center
CNOOC and Shell Petrochemicals Co Ltd (CSPC) has inaugurated a product innovation center in South China's Guangdong province, marking a significant step in the company's shift toward high-end, innovation-driven production. Located in the Daya Bay Petrochemical Industrial Park in Huizhou, the 7,000-square-meter facility is equipped with over 170 sets of advanced equipment for testing and pilot trials.
