Shanghai Disney Resort will debut a new live stage show, The Adventure of Rhythm, on June 3, which tells the story of a team of archaeologists who specialize in researching music.

This new indoor live stage show combines live performances with classic and new Disney tales. It will also take visitors on a musical journey that features a variety of music styles with an original musical number performed by explorer dancers and live drummers.

Its staging spotlights five music styles: regional, big band, hip-hop, Latin jazz and pop music. Songs from Walt Disney Animation Studios films like Moana, Mulan, Pinocchio, The Aristocats, The Lion King, Aladdin, Wreck-It Ralph and Pixar Animation Studios' Turning Red will be performed during the show.

Guests may see different versions of the show as each of the five music styles takes them on one of two adventures, according to the resort. Depending on which path the adventure takes, each adventure offers a different cast of characters, some of whom are not often seen at the resort, such as Marie, Genie and Aladdin.

This new indoor live stage show at Shanghai Disneyland's Storyhouse Stage will open on June 3 and run through Oct 7, barring special events. Extra tickets are not needed for this event.
