BRI lights up life in Bangladesh
Forhanur Rahman Fahim, a Bangladeshi electrical engineer at Genertec, believes that the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) is about developing communication, which in turn, drives the development of countries.
Thanks to the BRI, the Payra Thermal Power Plant, the largest power plant in Bangladesh at present, has ushered the country into a new era of full electricity coverage and contributed significantly to regional development, according to Forhanur.
Working in a Chinese company for the first time, Fohanur hails that Chinese colleagues are creative, enthusiastic and helpful. He is also interested in Chinese culture and hopes everyone will one day visit China, saying, "So you can enjoy the delicious foods and you can have a good memory."
