The China National Tourist Office in Paris joined hands with the Jardin d'Acclimatation in Paris to integrate the "Nihao! China" national tourism image into the Yuyuan Garden Lantern Show in Paris，on Jan 31.
During the lantern show, French people holding "Nihao! China" small flags and balloons interacted with the people in giant panda costumes and appreciated a showcase of popular scenic spots in China.
The "Happy Chinese New Year mascot "Jixiang Dragon", a lucky dragon featuring a welcoming gesture and a smiley face, also appeared at the lantern show.
The elements that embody "Nihao! China" national tourism image will be on display until the closing of the show on Feb 25. The China National Tourist Office in Paris will also organize a series of Chinese tourism promotion events for the French public during the 2024 China-France Year of Culture and Tourism.
