Shanghai continues to optimise COVID-19 prevention and control measures on Monday as the authorities announced that residents will no longer be required to present health codes or scan venue codes to enter public areas except for special places which include nursing homes, welfare facilities, hospitals and schools.
The adjusted measures will start on Tuesday (December 13), according to the city's COVID-19 prevention and control office.
