The logo for the 2024 Olympics and Paralympics, depicting the Olympic flame within a gold medal, was unveiled in Paris on Monday.
The circular logo includes a gold medal, the Olympic flame and Marianne, the personification of the French Republic since the revolution in 1789.
It's designed in the art deco style that was in fashion in 1924, when the capital of France hosted the Games for the first time.
And for the first time in history, the same logo will be used for the Olympics and the Paralympics.
"I think that with this new logo, this symbol of Paris 2024, we are going to be witness of a unifying and beautiful event. I love this idea of Paris, of Marianne, of the flame and of the medal" said the Mayor of Paris, Anne Hidalgo.
